POPIA COMPLIANCE STATEMENT

Protection of Personal Information Act Policy

ProSecure OS is fully compliant with Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). All personal information of security officers, client personnel, and site visitors is processed strictly in accordance with South African law.

1. Local South African Data Sovereignty

All database records, biometric mathematical descriptors, and patrol telemetry are stored exclusively within enterprise ISO-27001 certified data centers located in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. Zero guard personal data leaves South African borders.

2. Biometric Data Security & One-Way Hashing

ProSecure OS processes facial clocking telemetry using irreversible 512-bit vector embeddings. We do NOT store raw biometric photographs or unencrypted biometric templates. Biometric vectors cannot be reversed to reconstruct facial images.

3. Data Subject Rights & Information Officer

In terms of Sections 23 and 24 of POPIA, data subjects have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of their personal information. Requests may be lodged directly with our Information Officer at popia@prosecure.co.za.
